FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular, to agricultural machine building, and may be used in various cutters, knives, ploughshares, mouldboards of implements for soil treatment. A powder of doped hard alloys with addition of aluminium is applied using plasma-jet hard facing onto the rear side of the earth cutter tip and along the whole thickness of the base at the landward edge of the ploughshare. Plasma-jet hard-facing is carried out simultaneously with operation of the main and auxiliary arches. The tip of the earth cutter or plasmatron is displaced in transverse direction towards the rear surface is carried out with the speed of VD, which is determined by the following ratio: VD = (0.95÷1.05) VF · tg i, where VD - speed of transverse tip or plasmatron displacement; VF - linear speed of tip facing; i - angle of earth cutter tip blade sharpening. The thickness of facing is defined by the following ratio: h = α+(0.11÷0.13)·δ, where h - thickness of faced layer; δ - width of side part of tip; α - 1 mm. The facing doped powder is complemented with 3÷5% of aluminium powder by weight.

EFFECT: increased resource of earth cutter and preservation of geometric parameters of tip blade portion.
