SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of membrane materials. The method for production of reflecting water-tight vapour-permeable membrane involves the following stages: production of water-tight vapour-permeable membrane, production of film substrate, application of the membrane onto the film substrate, the membrane open surface metallisation by vacuum vapour method, application of a water-tight vapour-permeable coating layer, removal of the film substrate. Produced is reflecting water-tight vapour-permeable membrane with metal coating and a polyurethane cover layer.
EFFECT: method enables production of membrane retaining active metal coating on at least 80% of its surface after three washing operations in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6330:2000.
