FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding electrode rotation and feed device and may be used in chemical, oil industry and machine building. Welding electrode is fed in axial channel of rotary central shaft by feed rollers. Said rollers are mounted on said central shaft together with electrode feed mechanism, its inlet link, drive bevel gear, being fitted in sleeve revolving of central shaft. Said sleeve is articulated with central shaft and electrode feed drive by mechanical gearing made up of planetary one-row differential mechanisms. Quantity of gearing kinematic pairs is even, its gear ratio equal to unity. Differential mechanism with two inputs sums two motions, i.e. central shaft rotation and that of pinion frames of electrode feed drive differential mechanisms. Algebraic difference of angular speeds of central shaft and sleeve with bevel gear defines amount and angular rotation speed direction, hence welding electrode feed direction.
EFFECT: controlled welding consumable electrode feed speed.
