FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: pneumatic controlled fuel injector of internal combustion engine includes control system of pneumatic controlled fuel injector, which follows up the current position of piston of internal combustion engine, gas distributor, piston of drive of fuel injector, and check valve. Pneumatic controlled fuel injector is equipped with pneumatic accumulator, plunger of fuel injector and cut-off valve serving to stop the supply of working medium from combustion chamber of internal combustion engine to pneumatic accumulator after its complete charging. Pneumatic accumulator has the possibility of being interconnected through channels with power and return cavities of piston of drive of injector and through check valve to combustion chamber of internal combustion engine. Charging of pneumatic accumulator with working medium is performed from cylinder of internal combustion engine at compression stroke. For injection of fuel with plunger of pneumatic controlled fuel injector to cylinder of internal combustion engine the control system of pneumatic controlled fuel injector sets the gas distributor to position providing the supply of working medium from pneumatic accumulator to power cavity of piston of drive of fuel injector. For preparation of pneumatic controlled fuel injector for regular working cycle the control system of pneumatic controlled fuel injector sets the gas distributor to the position providing the supply of working medium from pneumatic accumulator to return cavity of piston of drive of fuel injector.

EFFECT: invention allows simplifying kinematic diagram and using the injector in all ICE types.
