SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in fuel feed systems of internal combustion engines (ICE). Disclosed is a method of increasing dispersion of fuel injected into combustion chamber 2 of ICE, according to which at moment of time, when fuel feed into combustion chamber 2 of ICE is required, spool 14 is installed for working medium flow control in a position, where working medium from accumulator 6 is fed into upper cavity of piston 17 drive of fuel injector. Piston 17 drive of fuel injector moves down, is connected with plunger 21 of fuel injector and together move down. As a result fuel pressure under plunger 21 sharply increases. Kinetic energy of moving piston 17 and plunger 21 is transferred into compression energy of fuel and energy of elastic deformation of walls of cavity under plunger 21. Upon injection of fuel into combustion chamber 2 of ICE, fuel is further dispersed, which improves quality of fuel combustion process.
EFFECT: increased dispersion of fuel injected into combustion chamber 2 of ICE.
