FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: cartridge includes high-explosive fragmentation shell and case with powder propellant charge. Shell is equipped with copper driving band. Shell is equipped as to thread to nose fuse interacting with high-explosive filling of the shell body. Igniter capsule is installed in case flange. Stage of smaller diameter, which forms the guarantee gap relative to shell body, is made on threaded attachment part of nose fuse. Lead ring placed into powder propellant charge of case adjoins the shell bottom. Case is covered on the outside with antifriction layer of zinc chromate.

EFFECT: enlarging damage effect of ammunition.
