FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pickup comprises body and sensitive element with strain gages. It incorporates force sensor made up of flexible cylindrical rod restrained in pickup body inner groove. Sensitive element is made up of two hollow cones joined with cylindrical ring be their larger-diameter diameters and cut over generating lines into some flexible sections. First hollow cone is rigidly jointed with said body and with collet inner taper surface. Second hollow cone consisting of flexible sections with strain gages arranged in zone of maximum strain is jointed with first hollow cone by cylindrical ring. Each flexible section is made up of twin beams arranged along the ring, restrained in body inner groove on their one end and, on opposite end, they stay in contact with force sensor via restraining spring ring.
