FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: superoxide dismutase enzyme activity on pea germinating seedlings which are resistant and susceptible measured after 10 days of sprouting, and if on the 10th day, activity of the enzyme increases to 600-800 conventional units, the resistant varieties are diagnosed with necrosis, and if enzyme activity increases to 300-400 conventional units, the susceptible varieties are diagnosed with necrosis, and if enzyme activity drops to 125-200 conventional units, the resistant varieties are diagnosed with apoptosis and if enzyme activity drops to 50-120 conventional units, the susceptible varieties are diagnosed with apoptosis.
EFFECT: method can be used to assess resistance of selected material and study immunity mechanisms.
