SUBSTANCE: proposed methods and device with a buffer of trembling elimination vary reproduction of packets depending on whether silence periods are discovered between sentences or within a sentence, to optimise quality of voice transmission in a communications system. In one example the buffer of trembling elimination detects duration of at least one silence period related to multiple received packets, and determines a moment of time to send a part of packets on the basis of the determined duration of this silence period. In another example this function is carried out by a module of silence characteristics reception.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of talk spurts reproduction synchronisation.
