FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Pedicle screw contains screw shank with spherical tip, screw head, which has two located opposite each other hollows. Spherical tip has two located opposite each other parallel surfaces (18a, 18d), adjoining corresponding parallel surfaces (18c, 18d) of screw head, longitudinal axis passing through two located opposite each other hollows of screw head perpendicularly to parallel planes (18c, 18d) of screw head. Device for spine fixation contains at least two above mentioned pedicle screws (1) and at least one connecting element (4).
EFFECT: inventions ensure combination of single-axis screw advantages with advantages of multi-axial screw, without having disadvantages typical of screws of said types, namely, possibility to envelope connecting element tightly and on the other hand, ensure recovery of optimal position of vertebrae.
