FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention covers methods and devices intended for cleaning fluids of impurities in centrifugal separator with additive facilitating separation and having density higher than that of fluid to bind aforesaid impurities. Centrifugal separator comprises rotor case made to revolve about rotational axis. Fluid to be cleaned is fed via inlet into separation chamber confined by rotor case for separated particles to be discharged via first outlet and cleaned fluid to be discharged from second outlet. Fluid is mixed up with certain amount of aforesaid additive and cleaned therein by contaminating particles of said additive forced toward rotor case periphery in rotation. Minor flow of said additive and particles bonded therewith is discharged via first outlet from separation chamber, while cleaned fluid flow is discharged from separation chamber via second outlet. Said additive and particles bonded therewith are carried in rotor case inner space by, at least, one transfer turn toward first outlet and discharged therefrom.
EFFECT: better separation.
