FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water treatment appliances. Proposed method consists in that filtration layer is cleaned in separate process of partial cleaning to clean opt iron removal layer and in complete cleaning process wherein both top and bottom iron and manganese removal layers are removed. Note here that complete cleaning is not carried out as frequently as incomplete cleaning. Proposed water treatment device comprises uncleaned water feed tube, one or multiple uncleaned water flow mixing nozzles, filtration reservoir, filtered water discharge tube, flushing water counterflow feed tube, multiple nozzles for filtration layer cleaning, and overflow outlet arranged in filtration reservoir above filtration layer. Note here that filtration reservoir is, if fact, round as seen from top, while filtration layer cleaning nozzles are arranged spaced apart at preset interval, above filtration layer.
EFFECT: higher rate and efficiency of cleaning.
