SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to fabrication of air cushion pack, to folding device for fabrication of said pack and to air cushion pack. Proposed method comprises first stage of covering the recess by first flatly unfolded protective jacket and folding air cushion, and second stage of fitting folded air cushion in said recess with intermediate arrangement of protective jacket first part. Air cushion fitted in said recess, protective jacket first part is arranged as-extended therein. Folding device comprises first and second tools. First tools has recess to accommodate air cushion pack. Second tool serves to press folded air cushion to protective jacket first part. Air cushion pack comprises folded air cushion and its protective jacket. Said jacket is elastic.
EFFECT: simplified design and higher reliability.
