FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocketry. Proposed method comprises filling tank with component and draining said tank thereafter. Cryogenic tank is cleaned in two stages, i.e. prior to and after mounting suspended equipment on cryogenic tank shell. Prior to mounting suspended equipment, cryogenic tank is arranged vertically into vacuum chamber. Said chamber is evacuated and cryogenic tank is filled and drained. After filling-draining, cryogenic tank is arranged to have its filling flange in top position and cryogenic fluid is filled-drained, draining being performed via filling pipeline. In draining, contamination of cryogenic component is performed at filter mounted in filling pipeline to allow washout and control over washout unless tolerable contamination of cryogenic tank is reached. After mounting suspended equipment, cryogenic tank is arranged horizontally in vacuum chamber to allow maximum draining via filling pipeline, vacuum chamber is evacuated and filling-draining is carried out, draining being performed via drain pipeline. In draining, contamination of cryogenic component is performed at filter mounted in drain pipeline. Cryogenic tank lengthwise position is varied to maximum draining via filling pipeline and filling draining is performed, draining being performed via filling pipeline.
EFFECT: reduced contamination of cryogenic tank insides.
