FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: articulated plate-clutch consists of two flange half-clutches and packages of flexible plates ends of which are hinged on half clutches by means of straps with rounded ends. Packages of flexible plates are positioned in one plane of rotation. The flange half-clutches are arranged on one or both sides of packages of flexible plates. The hinges are made in form of flexible conic or cylinder bushes. Between the hinges and packages of flexible plates there are installed anti-friction bushes.

EFFECT: increased resource and reliability of clutch operation and expanded range of application.
