FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: cage-less planetary gear consists of two power central wheels, one of which (3) has internal teeth, while another (2) - external ones, of driving central wheel (1) with external or internal teeth and of satellites (4, 5). The satellites are arranged in two layers in a staggered order. Satellites (5) of the internal layer interact with power central wheel (2). Satellites (4) of the external layer interact with the power central wheel (3) and satellites (5) of the internal layer. Driving central wheel (1) interacts with the satellites of the internal or external layer from the side opposite to contact of the said layer of satellites with the corresponding power central wheel. Depending on conditions of usage in the drive any of power wheels can be stopped, i.e. to become a support one, while another becomes a driven one.
EFFECT: increased loading capacity and minimised circular dimensions of reducer located around loaded output shaft or spindle.
