FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the sphere of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to mechanical transmissions and may be used in gears, requiring the minimization of external dimensions of reducing gear, located around an outer output shaft. Towbarless planetary gear comprises a driving (1), a follower (2) and outrigger (3) central wheels with external teeth, planet wheels (4) externally interlocked with a follower (2) and outrigger (3) central wheels, as well as floating rings (6) with a smooth internal working surface, co-acting with planet wheels (4). The outrigger central wheel (3) contains two crowns, oriented at different axial directions. Toothed rim of driving (1) and follower (2) central wheels are situated in-between. Floating toothed wheels (5) with external teeth is interlocked with a driving (1) central wheel and planet wheels (4). Every floating toothed wheel (5) co-acts with two adjacent planet wheels (4).
EFFECT: minimization of external dimensions of reducing gear and increasing of load capacity and adaptability to streamlined manufacture.
