SUBSTANCE: in the method of controlling data stream transfer rate, the effect of stimulated Raman scattering with the required length of the fibre-optic communication line is minimised, owing to which the said technical result is achieved by increasing the value of the optical signal/noise ratio at the input of the photodetector and rational distribution of data streams on spectral channels in case of failure of one of the spectral channels.
EFFECT: high reliability of transmitting an optical signal.
