METHOD TO DESIGN STRUCTURES OF ARTICLES WITH RAGLAN SLEEVE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A41H3/00 A41D27/10 

FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light industry and may be used to model structures of articles with a raglan sleeve. The method includes attachment of the initial set-in sleeve parts to an armhole of a forepart and a dos and building of an armhole and a head of the raglan sleeve. During attachment, points of sleeve head coupling with ends of shoulder cuts are found by crossing the line that determines head height with circular arcs, radii of which are taken from an armhole. The line of raglan armhole, both in a forepart and in a dos, is represented as a second-order curve, with building of two tangents for it. Mirror position of a lower head point is detected both for front and elbow parts of sleeves, relative to the lower point of the armhole, then the according part of the sleeve is turned around the end of the shoulder to the point found by crossing of two arcs. Position of the mirror line is detected for each of sleeve parts, as a perpendicular from the middle of the section, which connects lower points of armhole and the head, and ending in the point of tangents crossing to build raglan armhole. Mirror reflection of armholes is built, as well as a tangent to it and a point of contact to shape head of the selected part in the raglan sleeve. The line of armhole and head of raglan sleeve is shaped.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of designing articles' structures with raglan sleeve.
