FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, oncology, and can be used for combination treatment of locally advanced operable oesophageal cancer. That is ensured by 2 preoperative courses of polychemotherapy under the regimen: cisplatin 50 mg/m² on the 1st, 8th day, gemcitabine 800 mg/m² intravenously drop-by-drop in a infusion of half an hour's duration - on the 2nd, 9th days every 3 weeks. In 3 weeks, it is followed with a radical surgery with two-regional lymphodissection. Thereafter, the surgery involves an IRT (intraoperative radiation therapy) session in a single dose 10 Gy on an extracted tumour bed and a regional metastasis path.

EFFECT: method allows higher effectiveness of the combination treatment of the patients with operable oesophageal cancer, prevented progressing tumour process and remote metastasis, and also reduced number of postoperative complications due to reduced dysphagia effect and maintained preoperative complete nutrition of the patient without gastrostoma.
