FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dressing of minerals and may be used for increasing dressing efficiency. Proposed separator has distribution bin to feed feeding and flushing water, deck made up of disk and separation products receiver. Said disk is divided into two or more sectors, each having at least two separation product discharge zones with successively increasing radii. First zone with smaller radius serves for discharging smaller specific weight product while every next zone with larger radius serves to discharge higher density products. Aforesaid deck is driven by high-frequency step motor to allow deck continuous rotation and feed of counter pulses to provide for inertial displacement of particles in direction of deck rotation. Revolving magnets are arranged above deck surface. Note here that angle of shift between magnetisation axes of adjacent magnets equals 110-130°.
EFFECT: higher extraction of dense particles and efficiency, simplified design.
