SUBSTANCE: invention refers to wedge mechanism. The wedge mechanism consists of the first, second and third parts. The first part is furnished with a processing tool. The first and second parts are located movably relative to each other. The third part is connected to the first part. At least one forced return device engages the first and second parts. The said forced return device has at least one connection between the first and second parts based on rolling friction. The said connection is used for start-up and/or support of return of the first part and/or for increase of return force developed at return of the first part and lift of the third part. Further, there is disclosed the second version of the wedge mechanism and forced return device for wedge mechanism.

EFFECT: increased service life and withstanding required load.
