FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of industrial and household waste water. Waste water from which dirt and sand has been removed is fed into a receiving aerotank where it undergoes biological treatment. Primary deep biological treatment with active sludge is carried out in a main aerotank 3 with aeration of waste water with alternation of zones with excess and deficit of dissolved oxygen in aerobic and anoxide phases through controlled aeration. Final treatment of waste water and separation from active sludge takes place in a secondary settling tank 23 through surface collection of the treated water using floating skimmers 35. The treated water is tapped under gravity.
EFFECT: invention reduces power consumption, simplifies design and increases reliability the treatment facilities and quality of treatment.
