FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: waterworks facility comprises a soil dam, which creates a water reservoir on the waterway, a spillway of open type, which ensures water discharge whenever the normal headwater level in the water reservoir is exceeded, an inlet rise, which ensures the waterway inflow into the water reservoir, and a water-impermeable frost embankment closed with the upper level of permafrost soils. At the discharge slope of the dam and at the bottom of the water-reservoir cup there is an antifiltering water-impermeable geomembrane made of polymer material. The frost embankment is arranged along perimeter of the water reservoir and forms an upland trench above the permafrost soils, which captures and drains surface and ground (above-frost) water. At least on a separate section the geomembrane is jammed in the frost embankment. The edge of the geomembrane in the jamming point is located below the rated maximum level of water in the water-reservoir.
EFFECT: increased reliability of water supply to consumers and waterworks facility operation.
