FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device for cooking food consists of: external jacket, cooking cavity in external jacket, upper space formed between upper surface of cooking cavity and corresponding upper surface of external jacket. Trajectory of flow passes through upper space and a door opening and closing front surface of the external jacket and containing a panel of the door; a front panel positioned in front of the door panel, a frame of the door located behind the panel of the door for blocking micro waves through it; middle panel connected with the panel of the door and set between the front panel and frame of the door to block transfer of heat from the cooking cavity to the front panel and a hole made in front surface of the door. When the door is in the closed position relative to external jacket, the hole is communicated with trajectory of flow in upper space to receive cooling air from it; also, air is directed to the door. Cooling air passing from upper space is directed from the said hole in an upper end of the door to an outlet hole made in a lower end of the door along trajectory of flow of the door made between the front panel and the middle panel.
EFFECT: prevention of transfer of heat generated in cooking cavity outside relative to door or onto handle; blocking emission of micro wave radiation to outside.
