WATERBORNE VEHICLE FOR ARMOURED CARS, WHICH IS EQUIPPED WITH ANTI-SUBMARINE EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC F41H7/02 

FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: waterborne vehicle includes two water-permeable onboard pontoons fixed on armoured car by means of nose and aft attachment. Wing for creating lifting force from incoming water flow and its discharge under nose extreme end of armoured car is installed between pontoons in front of armoured car. Aft inserts are fixed on L-shaped extension along inner board of aft extreme end of board pontoons. In order to fight against submarines and surface ships the waterborne vehicle is equipped with lowering hydroacoustic station for search and detection of submarines and surface ships. Hydroacoustic station is arranged in auxiliary household module located on deck of pontoons and aft inserts. Torpedo devices are installed on deck of pontoons or inside pontoons. Overall dimensions of waterborne vehicle are chosen from condition ensuring the arrangement of the required armament and equipment.

EFFECT: new combat and functional capabilities and protection of nearshore zone twenty kilometres long against submarines and surface ships are provided.
