FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for assay of elastic properties of poorly cemented rock consists in sampling core, in fabrication of samples of cylinder shape, in stepped samples loading, in conditioning to stabilisation of pressure at each loading and in assay of volume of pores before and after each loading. Also, cylinders of samples are formed of sand of specified dimension and clayiness in a cylinder container where they are compressed by pressure equal to effective rock pressure. Further, a formed sample of a cylinder shape is extracted from the container. There is determined its dimensions, porosity and water saturation; by the method of capillary drawing in the sample there is modelled residual water saturation. Further, the sample is set in the press and is stepped loaded with delay to stabilisation of pressure at each loading, There is determined change of length and diameter of the sample before elastic limit is reached.
EFFECT: upgraded accuracy of assay of elastic properties of poorly cemented rock.
