FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: aerospace probing digital data are received and recorded onto a magnetic carrier. The obtained data are processed via geographical referencing. Geometric, radiometric and atmospheric distortion of the data is taken into account. The processed data are displayed in a defined projection of the map of the analysed area. The data are converted. Spectral intensity of the outgoing radiation is calculated. Theme-based processing with selection of the "vegetation" class is performed. The volume of phytomass is determined for each resolution element relating to the "vegetation" class. Parameters of the state which characterise heat-, moisture- and energy exchange between the canopy of the vegetation cover and the atmosphere are determined. Biological productivity is determined from the "vegetation" class.
EFFECT: high efficiency of processing multispectral images.
