FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of natural resources research and relates to the method for determining the parameters of the state of soil-vegetation cover by data of multispectral aerospace sounding. Method includes receiving and recording aerospace sounding data on the storage medium and processing the obtained data, and then displaying the processed data in a specific projection of the geographic map of the surveyed area. On the basis of the obtained data, the spectral intensity of the radiation is calculated and the thematic processing is carried out with the selection of the vegetation class. With a thematic treatment with the allocation of the vegetation class according to the informative optical characteristics of the Sosnowsky's hogweed calculate the index of the Sosnowsky's hogweed. Threshold value of the index from the set of threshold values is selected and the calculated data of the Sosnowsky's hogweed index is subjected to a thresholding procedure, according to the results of which a binary map of the territories of the growth of the Sosnowsky's hogweed is formed.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increased completeness of the determination of the parameters of the state of the soil-vegetative cover by determination of the area of growth of the Sosnowsky's hogweed.
