FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: liquid salt nuclear reactor is equipped with heat removal equipment, electric power generation equipment, reactor power control system and gas removal and cleaning system; housing of the above reactor is equipped at least with one inlet and outlet connection pipe of cooling heat carrier, and includes active zone chamber and moderator rods located in it. Above active zone chamber there installed is lower and upper tube grids with coincident holes for cooling heat carrier pipelines sealed in holes of tube grids and lowered to active zone chamber with "tube in tube" vapours; internal pipeline is installed with clearance for passage of cooling heat carrier in external pipeline plugged at the bottom; reactor is equipped with pipeline lowered to the bottom of active zone chamber and connected to branch pipe on reactor housing, which is intended to be connected to the equipment for filling of liquid salt chamber with liquid salt composition and emptying, pipeline connecting the dispergator located at that bottom of active zone chamber to branch pipe on reactor housing, which is intended to be connected to equipment of helium supply from gas removal and cleaning system, and at least one nuclear-safety expansion joint of thermal expansions of liquid salt fuel composition, which is connected to the top of active zone chamber and equipped with branch pipe to be connected to gas removal and cleaning system and level metre.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows designing safety liquid salt reactor.
