SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry. The functional sweetener composition contains a functional ingredient, a composition of rebaudioside A and polyol. An antioxidant is used as the functional ingredient. One also proposes functional sweetened compositions produced based on the functional sweetener composition and a method for imparting a more sugar-like time profile, a more sugar-like flavouring profile or both profiles of the functional sweetener composition.
EFFECT: group of inventions allows to produce a non-caloric intensive sweetener which may be used in various diets with benefit for human health.
