The floor attachment of a vacuum cleaner with a switching device and a brush, besides, the brush at the first control position of the switching device takes the first position, and at the second control position of the switching device takes the second position, differing by the fact that the switching device has the third control position, in which the brush takes the first or second position automatically, besides, in the third control position of the switching device, the switching between the first and the second positions of the brush is made depending on direction of the floor attachment movement.
