FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fire extinguishing devices, namely to a fire monitor. The fire monitor with a circular oscillator comprises a nosepiece, a turbine with a reduction gear. The nosepiece is mounted in a pivot joint of the oscillator body. The turbine with the reduction gear is coupled with the nosepiece. The turbine is arranged on an input shaft of the reduction gear. The reduction gear is fixed in the oscillator body through a crosspiece directly in a water flow. An output shaft of the reduction gear is connected through the crosspiece to the nosepiece. The nosepiece represents a capped elbow. A boundary line of a cap spray angle is crossed with a rotation axis of the oscillator in a plane of a sprinkling area.
EFFECT: reduced weight and dimensions of the assembly, hydraulic loss reduction, enlarged sprinkling area, ensured uniform sprinkling intensity.
