FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fire extinguishing devices, namely to fire-fighting monitor. Fire-fighting monitor with a rotary ball channel includes a base, a body hingedly connected at the input to the base for rotation in a horizontal plane, and at the output connected by a spherical roller bearing with a sealing ring and cylindrical sliding bearings with a ball-shaped rotary channel mounted on the semi-axes for rotation in a vertical plane and rigidly connected to the packing. According to the invention, the guide channels in the form of longitudinal baffles are further introduced into the housing, directed along the flow of the water flow from the inlet into the housing to the ball surface of the channel, with a minimum gap.
EFFECT: proposed technical solution can significantly reduce the turbulence of the water flow, reduce the hydraulic resistance of the ball barrel with a rotary channel, which increases its advantages over similar products and expands the application possibilities of the device.
