FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering, particularly, to fuel tanks with elastic separating membrane for displacement of fluid from tank. Proposed housing comprises top section with control gas feed unions, frame, cylindrical section and bottom with fuel union. All aforesaid tank elements are made integral from high-strength granulated titanium alloy. Cylindrical section one face is jointed to top section semi-sphere, its second face being jointed to bottom semi-sphere. Proposed method consists in that high-strength granules of titanium alloy are fed into metal capsule in vacuum to be compacted and degassed. Capsule filled with granules, it is sealed by laser beam. Then, evacuated granules in capsule are subjected to hot isostatic compaction. Then, said capsule is dipped into tank with acid solution for etching. After dilution of capsule inner and outer shells, smooth seamless and high-strength tank results.
EFFECT: lower weight, high strength and reliability.
