SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis, specifically to a method for selective production of 2-, 3- and 4-(1,3,5-dithiazinan-5-yl) thiophenols (1-3):
, which involves reaction of aminophenols with aqueous formaldehyde solution saturated with hydrogen sulphide in molar ratio of reagents equal to 1:3:2 in an ethanol medium, characterised by that the initial aminophenol used is isomeric o-, m- or n-aminothiophenols and the reaction is carried out at 0°C for 3 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining novel compounds which can be used as selective sorbents and extraction agents of precious metals, special reagents for inhibiting bacterial activity in various media.
