FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic synthesis and specifically to a method of producing 2,4,6-trimethyl-(1,3,5-dithiazinan-5-yl)-amine , which involves reaction of a mixture of hydrazine hydrate (60%) and acetic aldehyde, which is first mixed at temperature of 0°C for 15 minutes, with hydrogen sulphide until achieving molar ratio of reactants hydrazine:acetic aldehyde:hydrogen sulphide of 1:4:2, and then mixing the reaction mass for 1 hour at 0°C.
EFFECT: method of producing a novel compound which can be used as a selective sorbent and an extractant of precious metals, special reactant for inhibiting bacteria in different media, biologically active substance for synthesis of different medicinal agents, for modifying and (or) boosting taste and smell or bacon, caramel, roasted meat, nuts, poultry meat, fish, molluscs, crustaceans, cereal products, ground nuts, confectionary products and fruit and vegetable processing products.
