FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: electric separator includes composite metal housing with connection threads on both ends, section of outer coating from dielectric material, channel for passage of drilling solution, in which dielectric sleeve is installed. Housing consists of upper and lower adapters, as well as intermediate insert (II) located between them, connected to each other with threaded connections in which separate metal parts are insulated from each other with dielectric layer. At that, II has pin threads. Inside it there concentrically installed is dielectric sleeve the projecting ends of which are flared and pressed to II edges with fixing sleeves (FS). Projecting parts of FS enter inner grooves made in upper and lower adapter and are sealed. And outer coating fully covers II insert and partially overlaps upper and lower adapters. On upper and lower adapters on II side there are outer grooves throughout the overlapping length of outer coating. On cylindrical surface formed with outer grooves there made are slots preventing the turnaway of threads connecting separate parts of electric separator (ES). Slots on upper and lower adapters are opened towards the edge. Grooves for sealing rings are made inside II on both sides. On FS edges and in inner groove of lower and upper adapter there made are annular projections between which additional sealing rings are installed. Thin-wall part of FS is flared inside dielectric sleeve. Radius of vees of thread connecting II to upper and lower adapters is equal to sum of values of projection radius and thickness of dielectric coating.

EFFECT: higher reliability of electric separator of borehole instrument of telemetering system owing to preventing the penetration of drilling fluid between electrically insulated parts included in its composition.
