FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises processor module, memory and loudspeaker. Memory comprises set of prerecorded audio samples, each making navigation instruction or part thereof. Navigation device may reproduce prerecorded audio images via loudspeaker. Besides, navigation device comprises input device to receive voice audio signals corresponding to one or more prerecorded audio images and sore received audio images in memory as a new set. When it is necessary to transmit navigation instructions to the user, such navigation instructions that include at least one stored voice audio image, instead of at least one pre-recorded audio sample reproduced via loudspeaker. Proposed method comprises using input device to record one or more voice audio images each making navigation instruction of part thereof and memorising received images as a new set. Data carrier comprises computer program containing one or several machine-readable instructions that, when loaded into computer, serve to implement said method.
EFFECT: expanded performances that allow updating.
