ASSEMBLY OF BURNERS WITH ULTRALOW NOx EMISSION Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC F23D14/22 F23D14/32 F23D14/58

Abstract RU 2426030 C2

FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: assembly of burners comprises a lengthy body, which has a peripheral part, an outlet side adjacent to a burning zone, and an axis, besides, the axis passes through a burning zone, one or more oxidising nozzles arranged on an outlet side of the lengthy body and adjusted for exhaust of a gaseous oxidant into a burning zone, and one or more fuel nozzles installed on the outlet side of the lengthy body and adjusted for fuel outlet into the burning zone, besides, at least one of oxidising and fuel nozzles is characterised with a shape factor a, which is slightly higher than 10, besides σ is a dimensionless parameter defined as σ=P2/2A, where P - a value of the outlet hole perimetre, and A - area of the outlet hole. At least one of one or more fuel nozzles and at least one of one or more oxidising nozzles are installed at equal radial distances from the axis. At least one of one or more fuel nozzles is installed between two oxidising nozzles. At least one of one or more fuel nozzles is installed at a radial distance from the axis, which is more than the radial distance from the axis of at least one of one or more oxidising nozzle. The lengthy body is divided with a horizontal plane, comprising an axis of the lengthy body, where a number of oxidising nozzles installed above the plane is more than the number of oxidising nozzles installed below the plane, and where the number of fuel nozzles installed below the plane is more than the number of fuel nozzles installed above the plane. The assembly of burners comprises at least one flame stabiliser installed within the limits of the peripheral part of the lengthy body. The flame stabiliser is adjusted for burning fuel of the flame stabiliser with one or several oxidising gases to generate combustion products and to exhaust combustion products into the burning zone.

EFFECT: reduced content of NOx in combustion products.
