FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used for combustion of high-calorific gas fuel in furnaces of boilers, combustion chambers and furnaces. In the gas burner, the air channel is divided into an internal annular air channel with a blade swirler installed at the channel outlet and an external annular air channel. At the same time at the burner outlet the external annular air channel is divided by a shell into two annular channels, in the closest to the burner axis a blade swirler with adjustable twist is installed. Outlet from the direct-flow annular channel of the burner is partially covered with a wall through which fuel tubes pass from the peripheral gas manifold, ending with fuel distribution nozzles. Burner can be buried in the furnace.
EFFECT: invention provides low level of NOx formation during combustion of high-calorific gas fuel and stable combustion with reliable operation of burner at various loads.
