FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: sighting-distance measuring device (SDMD) of manual target tracking includes sighting column (SC) consisting of rotating part with SC position sensor installed on it in heading angle (HA) and swinging part with laser range-finding binoculars (RFB) installed on it and SC position sensor in elevation angle (EA). At that, RFB synchronisation element is installed on swinging part of SC. SDMD includes electronic chronometer, conversion unit of readings of SC position sensors of SC in EA and HA to stabilised spherical coordinate system and elements providing storage and extrapolation of target positions.
EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities.
