SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises using differential pressure gage installed inside pipeline with its one input connected directly to pipeline and second input connected via controlled vale to pipeline at the same section. Pressure at controlled valve cutin instant is memorised to measure pressure variation relative to memorised value. Proposed device comprises differential pressure gage with two inlets. One inlet, a controlled inlet, is connected directly to pipeline in controlled section, while second inlet is connected to the same section via controlled valve to memorise pipeline pressure prior to measurement.
EFFECT: higher sensitivity and accuracy.
