SUBSTANCE: apparatus for detecting location and time of occurring leakage in main pipeline includes at each end of inspected portion of pipeline connected in series: differential pressure pickup; piezoelectric transducer, time counter. Apparatus also includes additional time counter; electronic timepiece; analog electric signal delay circuit; electronic amplifier with controlled transfer coefficient; digital register for holding information about detected connections with pipeline; vibration device for increasing pressure in pipeline; two electric valves; two digital memory units for storing numbers; two analog memory units for storing voltage values; two registers for holding constant values; divider of two analog electric voltages; turbine type meter for measuring transporting speed of product though pipeline; two number multipliers; digital-to-analog converter; two digital number dividers; two digital inverters; digital number subtracting unit; two electronic switches; encoder for recording facts of leakage from pipeline.
EFFECT: enlarged functional possibilities of apparatus due to identifying location and time of unauthorized connection to pipeline or leakage from pipeline, improved accuracy and reliability of detecting leakage location.
