FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: hammer is accelerated to generate shock wave in analysed specimen to be proton-rayed in synchrophasotron, proton images are recorded on approach of hammer to specimen by means of multiframe system. Shockwave shape and propagation speed are defined to restore 3D geometry of specimen by means of few view tomography and testing equation of analysed material state. Note here that, additionally, mass speed and material density behind shockwave front are recorded. Protons are accelerated to at least 20 GeV while hammer is accelerated by powder charge or explosive charge. Note also that hammer speed is varies by varying charge amount.
EFFECT: expanding test possibilities.
