FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a pulse generator, a threshold unit, a DC source, a capacitance accumulator, integrating chains. The DC source is connected to the capacitance accumulator, output of which via a switch is connected to a diagnosed winding. Integrating chains are connected in parallel to the winding in forward and backward direction via appropriate diodes. Outputs of integrating chains are connected to inputs of the threshold unit, for instance, a comparator. The comparator output is connected to an indicator. The control input of the switch is connected to the pulse generator.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of winding turn-to-turn insulation diagnostics due to increased sensitivity of a device and accuracy of measurement.
