FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing a mycotoxin sorbent. The method involves obtaining Z2.2 Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain yeast cell membranes of the and obtaining mannoligosaccharide from said cell membranes, which is then uniformly mixed with clay in ratio of 1-10 wt % clay and 90-99 wt % mannoligosaccharide. Obtaining mannoligosaccharide involves boiling yeast cell membranes, enzymolysis thereof, centrifuging to obtain hydrolysate, concentration thereof and drying. The invention enables to obtain a mycotoxin sorbent, having good miscibility with feedstuff and high efficiency of absorbing toxins and enables to use the sorbent in low concentration. The sorbent can be used to feed any type of animal, including cattle, poultry, marine animals and ruminants.

EFFECT: when mixed with feedstuff, owing to high mycotoxin absorption capacity, the absorbent reduces the amount of toxins going into the body the animal, thus improving efficiency and health of animals and reducing diseases caused by toxins.
