FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and may be used in rolling sheets with stringent requirements to surface quality. Proposed method comprises preparing mill rolls and rolling sheets in two to four passes. After each pass sheet is turned in horizontal plane through 90°. Note here that after each pass the sheet is turned through 90° clockwise or counter clockwise, or, after each odd pass it is turned through 90° in one direction and after even pass the direction is opposed. Besides, sheet in divided into parts after each pass to be turned simultaneously prior to feeding them into rolls for next pass. Stacked are rolled entirely. After previous pass, sheet stack is turned through 90°.
EFFECT: reduced costs.
