SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of asymmetric sheet rolling. The workpiece is deformed by two rotating cylindrical rollers, the rotation axes of which lie in the same plane, perpendicular to the rolling direction. Rolling is carried out using rollers of different diameters, subject to the following conditions: =(0.15 - 5.0)%, where D1 – diameter of the larger roll, mm, D2 – diameter of the smaller roll, mm, , whereω1 – angular velocity of the larger roll, rad/s, R1 – radius of the larger roll, mm, ω2 – angular velocity of the smaller roll, rad/s, R2 – radius of the smaller roll, mm, k – empirical coefficient, numerically equal to 0.95-1.01.

EFFECT: operating fleet of rolls is reduced while maintaining the quality and the mechanical properties of the rolled strips.
