FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and may be used for production of metal sheets with the highest surface finish. Proposed method comprises preparing rolling rolls, mounting said rolls in roll mill stand, heat treatment of billet, sheet rolling in applying force to sheet front edge defined by roll body and rolled sheet thickness. Preferably, sheet at outlet from rolls should be bent off at 0.3…1.0° and go on rolling unless sheet rear edge escapes from rolls. It is expedient to keep top roll radial velocity higher than that of bottom roll while sheet escape speed should equal top roll radial velocity. Preferably, rolling should be made at 0.2…0.6 m/s, while roll body temperature should be kept equal to 40…50°C.
EFFECT: Rz=0,08mcm-surface finish and "A"-class flatness.
